The Glenmere Ocean House, Tenants Harbor

-The Glenmere Ocean House sits just 30 feet from the water
on the lower west side of the St. George Peninsula (15 miles S of Rockland)
overlooking a wide expanse of ocean where the St. George River meets
Muscongus Bay and the Atlantic Ocean.
-Two miles over land is the village of Port Clyde where the
Monhegan Boat Line leaves for fascinating Monhegan Island.
-The tides rise and fall 10 feet.
-The shore is deep water
not tidal flats.
-A mooring just off shore with 24 hr. deep water access by special arrangement.
-The house sleeps 4 in two bedrooms, one with KING
and one with two SINGLE (twin) beds.
-We rent it for a week, a month or sometimes an entire summer. It is usually
booked early and some guests return again and again.
-The weekly rate runs from $1,300 to $1,450. The only additional costs are required by
the State of Maine, namely, an 8% lodging tax. There is a refunded Security Deposit of $250.
-Stays longer than a month can be negotiated for less than
the weekly rate.
-High Speed WiFi Internet Access with download speeds as high as 20 megs.
